Chief Operating Officer
You run the operation. Construction schedules, vendor relationships, crew logistics, regulatory compliance, budgets. The network design is done. Your job is to get it built on time and on budget across a national buildout.
This is a ground-up fiber build. You own every operational decision from permitting through subscriber activation.
What you'll do:
- Own all construction operations, timelines, and budgets across active build markets.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, contracts, and performance.
- Build and lead the field operations organization from initial hires through scale.
- Drive permitting, right-of-way, and utility coordination processes.
- Maintain regulatory compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
- Report directly to the CEO on build progress, spend, and operational risk.
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years in telecom or utility construction operations, with 5+ in senior leadership.
- Direct experience managing FTTH or outside plant construction programs.
- Proven track record building and scaling field teams.
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
- Familiar with OSHA, NESC, and local permitting requirements.
