Construction Foreperson
You lead the crew. You read the prints, stage the materials, run the job site, and make sure the work meets spec. You are the person responsible for what gets built today.
What you'll do:
- Lead a construction crew of 3-6 technicians on daily job site operations.
- Interpret construction prints and ensure work is built to design specifications.
- Manage daily material staging, equipment readiness, and crew assignments.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce all safety protocols.
- Document daily production, as-builts, and any field deviations.
- Coordinate with the Director of Field Operations on schedule and resource needs.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years in telecom or fiber construction, with 2+ years leading crews.
- Ability to read and interpret OSP construction prints and splice schematics.
- Experience with aerial construction (strand, lash, overlash) and underground placement.
- Strong knowledge of traffic control, OSHA requirements, and job site safety.
- Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred.
- FOA CFOT certification a plus.
- You lead from the front. Not from the truck.
