You stand up and run the 24/7 nerve center: network operations and security operations in one. Every alarm, every outage, every threat, and the E911 reliability our customers depend on. You build this from zero.
You design the monitoring, the tooling, the runbooks, and the team that keeps a multi-market carrier online around the clock.
What you'll do:
- Stand up and manage a 24/7 GNOC/SOC operation.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and incident-response procedures.
- Ensure E911 reliability and PSAP connectivity.
- Run cybersecurity operations: threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response.
- Lead outage response and coordinate restoration with field operations.
- Implement NOC tooling (NMS, SIEM, ticketing) and hire and train analysts.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years in network operations or cybersecurity, with 3+ managing a NOC or SOC.
- Experience with telecom network monitoring (SNMP, syslog, flow analysis).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS) and incident response.
- Familiarity with E911 infrastructure and reliability requirements.
- Experience with SIEM, NMS, and incident-management platforms.
- You can build and lead a 24/7 team with full shift coverage.
