Installation Technician
You bring the network to the customer. Fiber drop installation, ONT mounting, home wiring, service activation. You are the last person to touch the network before the customer goes live. First impressions matter.
What you'll do:
- Install fiber drops from distribution points to subscriber premises.
- Mount and configure ONT equipment at customer locations.
- Perform home wiring, jack installation, and inside plant work as needed.
- Test and verify service activation, including speed and signal quality.
- Maintain a clean, professional work site at every customer location.
- Communicate clearly with customers throughout the installation process.
What we're looking for:
- 1+ years in telecom installation, cable, or structured cabling.
- Experience with fiber drop installation and ONT configuration preferred.
- Basic understanding of home networking and WiFi setup.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- FOA CFOT certification a plus.
- Professional appearance and strong customer communication skills.
