OSP Drafter / Drafting Technician
You turn engineering intent into the drawings crews actually build from, and you keep the record of the plant true. Every print, permit exhibit, and as-built runs through you.
What you'll do:
- Draft OSP construction drawings from engineering route designs.
- Produce permit exhibits and traffic-control drawings for jurisdiction submittals.
- Capture field redlines and turn them into accurate as-builts.
- Maintain the GIS plant database so the map matches what is in the ground.
- Keep drawing standards, layers, and symbology consistent across the buildout.
- Support OSP engineers and field crews with quick, accurate revisions.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years drafting in AutoCAD, plus QGIS or ArcGIS experience.
- Telecom, utility, or civil drafting background. Fiber as-builts a strong plus.
- Sharp attention to detail. A wrong dimension on a print is a wrong hole in the ground.
- Comfortable reading splice schematics and OSP construction prints.
- Organized with versions, redlines, and revision control.
- You take pride in records that are exactly right.
