VP of Network Engineering
You own the network. Architecture, design standards, capacity planning, and technical oversight of all construction. Every strand of fiber, every splice closure, every cabinet placement goes through your team.
We are building a modern fiber network from scratch. Your designs set the standard for everything that follows.
What you'll do:
- Define and own network architecture and outside plant design standards.
- Lead OSP engineering, including route design, splice schematics, and BOM development.
- Oversee network capacity planning and fiber allocation strategy.
- Manage relationships with equipment vendors and establish material specifications.
- Provide technical oversight of all construction activities and quality assurance.
- Build the network engineering team as the build program scales.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years in network engineering or OSP design, with FTTH experience required.
- Deep knowledge of fiber optic design principles, PON architectures, and splice planning.
- Experience with GIS and CAD tools for plant design and documentation.
- Familiarity with construction methods: aerial, buried, directional bore.
- Understanding of OTDR testing, fiber characterization, and acceptance standards.
- Strong technical leadership. You set the bar and hold it.
