SEATTLE, October 12, 2026 -- ClearBeam Networks today launched Carrier Managed Solutions, a service in which ClearBeam designs a private network around how an operation runs, builds it with its own crews, and runs it as the customer's carrier from start to finish. The service is built for events and festivals, venues, touring productions, temporary and field sites, and tribal and rural communities.
The launch follows ClearBeam's work at Capitol Hill Block Party 2026, the 21+ festival headlined by MUNA, Disco Lines, and Wet Leg, with more than 100 performances across indoor and outdoor venues on the Pike/Pine corridor. ClearBeam committed the network design on August 1 and doors opened on August 7. Production management, admissions, security, and point of sale each ran on its own isolated network over a 60 GHz wireless backbone with link rates above two gigabits per second. More than 375 GB crossed the network over three show days, and no street was cut open to build it.
"A festival is a small city that exists for one weekend," said Tim Semakula, founder and CEO of ClearBeam Networks. "There is one chance to get it right. We bring the same discipline to a venue, a job site, or a rural community that needs a network it can count on."
A job can end with the network taken down, kept running for the long term, or handed to the customer to own. For tribal and rural communities, ClearBeam can design and build a network the community owns, and run it on the community's behalf if it chooses. The rooftop backbone raised for Block Party is now the first phase of ClearBeam's permanent Capitol Hill network.
